The KAC Print Shop offers Archival Art Prints from current and past participating Artists in Residence at the building. Printed in house by photographer, Clayton Hauck, we use archival ink and paper to create high quality pieces that are affordable to all.

A 75% cut goes directly to the artists, while the 25% goes back into future Artist in Residence programming. Upon purchase, pieces are available to pick-up at your convenience at KAC.

Gabi Bozeman is a self-taught artist based in Chicago, IL. Since starting her practice in October 2024, she has created over 50 works, exhibited in 26 shows, painted a mural for the Uptown Chamber of Commerce, and been featured on Channel 21 as well as CBS Chicago. Working in acrylic, Bozeman blends surrealism and figurative expressionism, using bold color to capture emotions and mindsets at different stages of life, often centering Black women in her portraits.

Zakia Rowlett - is a Texas born, Chicago made Interdisciplinary Printmaker, and Art Director. She uses digital and print media as tools to navigate identity, self-devotion, and interdependency. Her practice spans screen printing, risography, image manipulation, documentation, installation, and curation, approaching print as both a historical medium of knowledge-sharing and a contemporary site for Self Actualization.

She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the Illinois Institute of Art Chicago, dedicating her early Advertising career to multicultural storytelling, and activation. She’s been a fellow and studio monitor at Spudnik Press Cooperative concluding with the public program: Tessellate. She Conceptualized, and Co-curated alongside SUBlvl the Group Exhibition Epoch at Connect Gallery (2025). Throughout her practice she’s exhibited in shows such as Fluffy Crimes at MANA Contemporary, Spudnik Press Monitor Showcase, BYP100: She Safe, We Safe Art Installation, Chicago Art Book Fair, SUBlvl’s RCHvl Series 3 Community Zine Archive, Contextos: The Living Exhibit, Black Zine Fair Brooklyn NY, and SAIC’s Joan Flasch Artists' Book Collection + Archives. Andrea Coleman is a Chicago-based visual artist, writer, and storyteller who channels the essence of her suburban roots and draws inspiration from animation art and mural concepts. Using mediums such as paint, fabric, and personal archives, her work delicately explores the interplay of aura and narrative, offering a glimpse into the acts of reminiscing and honoring. Graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Columbia College Chicago, Coleman’s journey has been quietly marked by recognition. She has received the A+T Seed Grant and the Make A Wave Grant from 3Arts, showcasing her commitment to her craft. Formerly an artist-in-residence at the Chicago Artist Coalition, she was recognized as one of the Breakout Artists for Chicago’s Next Generation of Image Makers in 2021. Coleman’s work has been featured at well-established fairs and galleries, including EXPO Chicago, Kavi Gupta Gallery, and Blanc Gallery, further establishing her presence in the art world.

Her photography embodies a captivating duality. Inspired by the earthy beauty of nature, her work simultaneously exudes opulence and luxury, reflecting her upbringing in a middle-class African American household surrounded by African art and rich textures.

Jacob Watts is an artist residing in Chicago Illinois that specializes in image manipulation. Through digital and physical manipulation, he seeks to push the boundaries of photography to blend with illustration and sculpture. Jacob found a love for art around the age of thirteen and developed an early aesthetic that has grown with him over the years. Initially he used stock imagery to composite his artworks but often found those images to be limiting. This inspired him to photograph his subjects and sceneries himself which grew into a stock imagery base of his own to use. Inspired by this process, he went to Columbia College Chicago for a BFA in photography. This experience massively helped shape, structure, and inform his art practices. He currently resides in Chicago, and is the creator of the giant moose blowing bubblegum mural. Working as a photographer, retoucher, and artist, Jacob is always pushing his creative ideas. Currently, he is experimenting in photo-based sculptures as seen in his “Socially Distanced” series.

American, b. 1995 — LaNia Sproles lives and works in Chicago, IL. They graduated with a BFA from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in 2017. Their body of work spans several disciplines including: printmaking, drawing and collage. The philosophies of self-perception, queer and feminist theories, and inherent racial dogmas are essential to Sproles’s work. They examine the works’ of feminist artists and writers such as Octavia Butler, Kara Walker and Rebecca Morgan. In 2020, They completed their year as a 2019 Mary L. Nohl fellow, continued as a teaching artist-in-residence at the Lynden Sculpture Garden and guest curated an exhibition hosted by NADA art fair with Green Gallery. Most recently Sproles has exhibited several artworks with Elijah Wheat Showroom hosted by David Zwirner’s online exhibition space, Platform and with Chicago based galleries, Goldfinch Gallery & FLXST Contemporary.

Clay Mills is a photographer, filmmaker and writer originally from Texas, now based in Chicago. Clay photographs modernity, taking pictures of the “ugly” as if it was “beautiful.” His photos have been derided by the Ogden Museum of Southern Art’s Curator of Photography as “like Cartier-Bresson taking the decisive moment, but [instead] taking the indecisive moment.” He has shown work at Filter Photo, the Gene Siskel Film Center, Experimental Sound Studio, and the Museum of the Big Bend. Clay’s hope is that his work is adequate to what Baudelaire tasked us with: to capture, “the fugitive, fleeting beauty of present-day life... often weird, violent, and excessive.”

Ashley Mia (b. 1993) is a photographer and contemporary visual artist based in Chicago. She received her Bachelors of Design in 2017 from the University of Illinois - Chicago where her direct focus was in graphic design. She grew up loving art and everything about it. From drawing, painting to dancing, all of this influenced her eye and passion to be a visual artist. Her photography has a signature focus of creating portraits that bring out the natural essence and beauty of a person. With her art, she primarily creates her drawings and paintings on canvas and paper. She has honed in on her own signature theme throughout her art that emphasizes the importance of having the right perspective as she creates icons for the eyes that represent positivity. Overall, she prides herself on being multi-disciplined and multi-talented; and has no issue of displaying all of the artistic gifts inside of her.
