2022 midsummer market

Once again KAC and ørkenoy put together a successful block party with a mix of familiar vendors and some new (see more below). DJ Bajomar spun psycho tropical and house records all day as we all celebrated the beginning of summer, despite the rain!

Join Kimball Arts Center and Ørkenoy in celebrating Midsummer and the creative community at the Kimball Arts Center!   Ørkenoy will be serving summertime cocktails and beer alongside po’boys and a crawfish feast. DJ Bajomar will be spinning records in the Kimball Arts Center parking lot. An amazing group of local artists and makers will be selling their work, and participating Kimball tenants will have their spaces open to the public. Stop by while walking on the Bloomingdale Trail, right off the Spaulding exit, and check out all the Kimball Arts Center has to offer!   Attendees are encouraged to RSVP for a time slot via Eventbrite. Walk-ins will be admitted based on capacity availability. We encourage guests to socially distance and enjoy the outdoor spaces. Friendly pets and children are welcome!
